"Drop It or Stop It" -– it's a simple request that has caught fire and become an advertising and earned media campaign aimed at exposing Members of Congress who are trying to take away our health care by repealing the Affordable Care Act while at the same time enjoying the quality, affordable, taxpayer-subsidized, government-run health care they receive as federal employees.
Andy Harris, a Tea Party Republican from Maryland, has become the poster boy for this kind of hypocrisy. At a recent orientation for new members, Harris' ignorance of health care policy was on full display. He demanded to know why he had to wait a whole month after he is sworn in for his taxpayer-subsidized government health care to kick in.
Harris ran on a platform to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
